Vinyl Records

I finally finished organizing and pricing the vinyl records. We have all kinds of records here at Sugartown Vintage Boutique, mostly records from the 60's to late 80's. It was a long, tedious procedure, but that's the kind of work I like to do. I'm very observant and patient, that's why I'm studying law. I really like organizing things and filing things, etc... My goal is to eventually become a legal secretary and then paralegal, so patience is definitely important to have. It's the kind of work I enjoy the most.

Mother's Day Celebration at Sugartown Vintage Boutique

On April 27, 2011 I made a Mother's Day Shopping Guide for "Sugartown Celebrates Mothers Day" it informs customers about what kind of gifts we have for Mom. I also made a Mother's Day Display with festive gift ideas such as jewelry and change purses. Check out the link for "Sugartown Vintage Boutique Celebrates Mother's Day"

Last Thursday, I sorted the record collection and priced them. I needed to research the prices for most of them, and conveniently there were record pricing books in the store. I like doing that sort of work because it's very tedious and that's something I enjoy. I believe I have a lot of potential for this field of work.

My First Window Display at Sugartown Vintage Boutique

About a little over a week ago, Ashley, the owner, told me I could design the window display. I was pretty excited, I couldn't wait to get started. I was going for a "funky spring" theme, which had a lot of mixing of dark and bright colors. In the background of the display, I set an awesome painting from the gallery on the chair, it really brightens it up. The dress I put out on the display sold the very next morning, too!

Here's the link to the Sugartown Vintage Boutique's blog about my Window display :)

I do rearrange and decorate, but my internship is not limited to that. I have a new task every day, so I'm learning a lot by just jumping right in.
